Bisnis.com, JAKARTA— Imports of completely built-up (CBU) cars into Indonesia have continued to rise in tandem with growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs)—both battery electric and hybrids—over the past few months.
Battery-powered vehicles are now a common sight across Jakarta and its surrounding areas. A significant number of these electric cars are already on the road, with Chinese brands such as BYD and Wuling dominating the streets alongside South Korea’s Hyundai.
